Step 2: Advanced Certification in Aesthetic Medicine

Elibility. All Medical Physicians regardless of specialty, Dentist and Maxillofacial surgeons, Nurses, PA’s. /Completion of Step 1.

Completion of The American Board of Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery  (ABAMCS)’s Step 1 program and those who already have the fundamental  skills in aesthetic medicine is ready to participate in our Step 2 training and propel their practice in the next level.

Step 2 Training will enable Participants to enhance and raise their knowledge in aesthetic medicine. They will learn and gain knowledge and skills of the latest, up-to-date, and contemporary aesthetic techniques. Participants will learn essential vascular and neural anatomy knowledge to safely and successfully perform nerve blocks to use fillers for face shaping and contouring.  They will be more confident and knowledgeable in facial anatomy and use of this knowledge to enhance, treat and reshape facial features.

Step 2 training will cover Advance dermal filler training and will  include aesthetic medical procedures for facial contouring such as tear trough injection, midface / cheek augmentation, temples, nonsurgical nasal augmentation (nose shaping), chin augmentation and marionette lines. Procedures and treatment of varicose veins using sclerotherapy, hair loss treatment using lasers neurotoxin eyelift, nose tip elevation, treatment for gummy smile and bunny lines, injection for face slimming / shaping and jaw delineation, necklace lines and perioral lines and lip flip will also be covered.  Benefits and Injection techniques, Complications, Management and Treatment of Complications of these treatments will be thoroughly discussed. Certificate in Advanced Certification in Aesthetic Medicine will be issued upon completion of Step 2.
